Terms of Use

Canada Citizenship 2026 (the “App”) · Last updated: July 5, 2026

Please read this first. The App is a study aid to help you prepare for the Canadian citizenship test. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Canada or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), and it is not the official test. It does not guarantee any test result or immigration outcome.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the developer of the App. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Licence to use the App

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial study. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the App’s content except as allowed by law.

2. Study aid only — not official or legal advice

The App’s questions, lessons, and explanations are prepared for study purposes and may not match the current official test or the official study guide in every respect. Content may contain errors or become out of date. The App does not provide legal or immigration advice. Always rely on official sources from the Government of Canada for authoritative information.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

4. Refunds

Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, and refunds are handled under their policies. We cannot directly issue refunds for store purchases. To request one, contact Apple or Google through your account.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the App, interfere with its operation, use it unlawfully, or attempt to access it in ways it was not intended to be used.

6. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership to you.

Some study material in the App is based on Discover Canada: The Rights and Responsibilities of Citizenship / Découvrir le Canada, published by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). That publication is © His Majesty the King in Right of Canada and remains the property of the Crown; it is used here only as a study reference, with questions and explanations rewritten in our own words. We claim no ownership of it and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Canada or IRCC. “Discover Canada,” “Découvrir le Canada,” and related names are used solely to identify the source material.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that use of the App will lead to passing the citizenship test. You use the App at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any test result or immigration outcome, arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end the App or your access to it if you breach these Terms or as needed to comply with law.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
